Breaking Points
THIS IS NOT A NEW CHAPTER FOR BREAKING POINTS.  I'm posting this only because I wanted one link that contained the entire BP story in one LJ post.

Title: Breaking Points
Author: Ragdoll
Pairing: Kirk/Spock slash (pre-slash), mentions of Spock/Uhura
Rating: PG-13 (eventual NC-17)

Yay! this is awesome and makes introducing people to the wonders of this fic ever so much easier..

I got a response from my hp group too, they said, "that was lovely, thank you so much" hehe, big grin on your face again?

I will make it my duty to spoil you with praise :D

!%!$%!@#$!! The grin is taking over my face. O_O Omgosh, thanks so much! I could never turn my nose up at such a, ah, 'noble' mission... ;) MWahaha!

Hi, i followed you over from FF.net (which i don't like (FF.net that is) but sombody rec'd you and i followed the link) I just wanted to say how very much i enjoyed this story. The relationship that you devlop b/t Kirk and Spock!prime is...both heartbreaking and so throughly endearing. The whole story is wonderful, but that part inparticular is just so moving. Thanks for you hard work.

Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the story!

i totally enjoyed this story and i am wondering you said something about a sequel in one of your posts over at ff.net, so is it true? any idea when? :)

Oh! I have a few one-shot's planned (in particular one that has to do with Tarsus) but no time-frame, although one of them is about half done. I'll post it on LJ when I do, promise.

oh excellent because i really would love to read the part where jim confesses his past to spock... :)

I found this in k/s recs, and I just finished reading. You are an amazing writer, and seem super excited about your work (which is this almost tangible sense I get from reading this and your comments) to boot. It was so captivating and deliciously played out- not to mention perfect characterization. I'm still going back and melting at certain sentences- mostly poetic things like, "he smile Jim gave him, full of warmth and camaraderie and a fellowship that Spock had never before experienced, left him almost breathless," and "He waited for Spock. Spock was worth waiting for." .... it was heartbreaking. It was funny. It was like I'd been reading about these characters instead of ever viewing them, and this was just the next installment in the series- I learned more about them and saw how their story got from point A to what I think it should B. This was a treasure, thank you.

and, oh god, two more that I cannot get over:

We are not on Earth, he thought despairingly. We are not on Earth and I am not Human, and I cannot think of how to explain what is so intrinsically and inescapably Vulcan to you, cannot even begin to describe this wanting, this need, for something so foreign, and so overwhelming, and so precious –

and, "...when he was busy playing super-Vulcan."

First, I just want to say that your story, heck, your writing, is marvelous and breathtaking.

Second:Can you tell me when that beautiful Tarsus oneshot sequel will come out? *Makes sad puppy eyes of DOOM at writer*

Thank you. :-) I'm very happy that even after more than year, this fic can reach out to people!

Second: oddly enough, I have it half-written, but it's been growing mold for the last year in the back of my dusty hard-drive. I mean, hopefully I'll have it out this year, because next year the next movie comes out, but I can't promise anything, because it's already taken me this long just to get this far on it, lol.
